Jeremiah 31: 3
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
Romans 8: 38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
It is usually feels unreal to know that the one who created the entire universe and everything in it loves and cares about us. Even the angels don’t understand how creatures lower than them can receive such love from God. Yes, God wants us to know that He truly loves us and wants to form an intimate relationship with Him.
Sometimes we wonder why He forbade Adam and Eve from eating of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil but the truth is that God wants us to fully rely on Him and not the world or ourselves. Not to rely on things He created but on the Creator Himself.
The lie of the fall is that there is more in the world that people can get that God is unable to provide. This is the lie that originated for Satan. In the first place God created everything for His pleasure and therefore, everything belongs to Him. We should therefore, seek the source and get everything we need from Him.
However, this can only begin from knowing Him,
James 4:8
“Come near to God and he will come near to you.”
There is someone who knows more about you than yourself and this person is God. He is the creator, our King, our father and also our friend. Let’s draw closer to God by finding out more about Him. Let’s read the Bible more to know and understand His ways and most of all His plans for our lives. Let’s submit out plans to Him and allow Him to guide us.
Romans 8: 28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
