The Gospel of Christ holds incredible power, capable of bringing salvation to anyone who believes. For, as Romans 1:16 states, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
That’s why we must boldly share it with the world. Recently, we embarked on a journey of street evangelism, stepping out with faith to spread the message.
The fields were ripe for harvest, yet there were few workers to gather. But amidst the hustle and bustle of the streets, we witnessed the mighty power of God at work through the Holy Spirit. We prophesied to those we encountered, saw the gospel’s transformative power firsthand, and felt a special faith rise within us, granting us the courage to speak boldly in public. And in the midst of it all, we had the privilege of leading someone to salvation.
Reflecting on our mission, I am reminded of Isaiah 6:8-13, where the voice of the Lord asks, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Like Isaiah, our response is clear: “Here am I; send me.”
